Artist's Comments
This is my pride and joy. It was the final piece in my AS ART that got me an A. I was 15 and that year and only 2 students from those who'd applied (campbridge international exams) got A's in AS ART *cough*imAwesome*cough*.
The exam was 8 hours long but i finished this in 3 (i've the MASTER of chalk) and got up and left. I had/have a huge thing for angels, and this was meant to be my final piece on the subject but i love it all too much to stop here  Their beautiful and they give me hope- this was meant to reflect this. The man in the photo is obviously in despair and the angel is there to comfort him. Esperanza is hope in italian. God bless my italian nanna who passed away two weeks ago. She's with her angels now Love you Bella.I'll be sure to submit more on my Angel series when i've got time. |
